It's over 400 strong community enjoys a whole host of weekly fitness sessions & classes from Running to Yoga, HIIT, Cycling and more, a loaded social calendar of local activities & events, regular UK wide weekend challenges & escapes, plus international adventure holiday trips. Since 2012, Clifton Running Club has been at the heart of Bristol's active community, blending social fun with fitness for all levels—from complete beginners to seasoned runners. As part of Social Fitness Bristol, we're connected to a family of clubs including Clifton Yoga Club, Bristol HIIT Fitness, Clifton Cycling Club, and Social Heroes Adventure Club. Together, we make staying fit, healthy, and connected effortless and enjoyable.

We believe fitness starts with FUN. Our sessions offer varied run training to build strength, endurance, and speed, complemented by full-body HIIT, yoga, cycling, and more through our sister clubs. Whether you're aiming for weight loss, injury prevention, or just good vibes, our supportive environment keeps things inclusive, motivating, and progressive. Run Fitness Sessions

 

CRC isn't just about our easy, zone 2, social runs... our Run Fitness sessions are PT coached, mixed-ability, fitness training sessions with mobility work, dynamic warm ups, varied run training sessions to ramp your overall running ability & fitness, plus additional post session flexibility & mobility work. Sessions are fun, varied and welcoming, led by knowledgeable coaches who cater to everyone. Whatever your current level, complete beginner to advanced, we've got you covered!

 

Social Fun

 

Through Social Heroes Adventure Club (free for CRC members), dive into a bustling 350+ community of weekly activities, including netball, football, hiking, climbing, surfing, padel, book club, badminton, and beyond. Plus, organised trips, events and international adventures. From pilots, nurses and teachers to doctors engineers and finance professionals, our members come from across Bristols neighbourhoods, from Clifton, Cotham, Redland & Henleaze to Fishponds, Bedminster, St Andrews, Montpelier & more. Yoga

Access discounted classes with Clifton Yoga Club, focusing on inclusive yoga designed to build flexibility, mobility, strength and balance. It's all about personal growth, progress and connecting with the calm.

 

Nutrition

 

Our coaches provide professional advice on fuelling your runs and fitness goals—tailored to help you lose body fat while enjoying life's treats. We're fans of balance: a bit of cake or a beer keeps the soul smiling! If you want deeper fine-tuning on the dietary front, we're partnered with Tri4 Nutrition, who will guide you through a thorough analysis, with testing & supplementation wherever required.

Personal Training, Nutrition & Massage Therapy

 

Tap into our network of expert Personal Trainers and Massage Therapists for 1-1 sessions. CRC members get discounts on PT, nutritional consults, and relaxation/sports massages—perfect for recovery and progress.

 

Events

 

Whether you're chasing PBs at 5K/10K/Half/Marathon races or joining for the social side, CRC supports it all. We enter team events together and encourage sharing adventures year-round.
