Couch To 5K

Clifton Running Club runs Couch To 5K sessions up on Clifton Down. Two sessions every week, we're having fun, making improvements, feeling good, getting fit, making friends & preparing for summer!

At 8pm on Monday's and Wednesday's, this class offers beginner running sessions in Bristol. These 1 hour sessions are designed for new runners just starting out in their running and fitness journey, those returning after some time out or individuals who are simply less confident. All sessions are designed to be engaging, fun, varied, welcoming & suitable for all abilities & ages.

Our classes are always mixed ability sessions, so anyone can join without having to worry about the levels of others. If you'd like to start or re-start your running & fitness journey, taking it steady to begin with whilst building your fitness & confidence within a fun, friendly, welcoming

& social team environment, then the Couch To 5K club is perfect for you.

We'll be encouraging social activities outside of the sessions as always too, so when your confidence is flying high and you feel ready, you can move straight on in to the regular CRC Originals Classes and already know people there. CRC members enjoy membership discounts with a variety of local businesses, including local running shops. These member discounts are set to expand vastly into new areas of local products and services throughout 2019 too.

Joining Up

Joining up to the 'Couch To 5K' club is simple. Just head over to the 'Contact Us' page now and send us a message letting us know you're keen to join. After your first free session, you'll be sent over all the welcome info with everything you need to know about becoming a CRC Member. That's it!

Taking the first step is always the most difficult part. Rest assured that we have new members joining the club regularly, plenty of members from all over the UK & other countries and we're super lucky to have an incredibly friendly, social & welcoming bunch of members who are all just as keen to meet new people and make new friends.
