Couch To 5K
Our Couch To 5K running sessions take place every Tuesday evening (7-8pm) & Saturday morning (10am). We recommend attending at least 1 per week, but your CT5K membership gives you access to up to 3 CRC classes per week. There is also a distance run progression which you can complete at home on your own time if you miss a session.
These CT5K run sessions are designed for those feeling a little less confident about their running & fitness levels. Every week we're out there together, having fun, feeling good, getting fit, making friends & improving, one step at a time. They are the perfect starting point for anyone in Bristol just starting out in their running and fitness journey, those returning after some time out or individuals who are simply less confident. we design all CRC sessions to be engaging, fun, varied, welcoming & suitable for all abilities.
Once we've got you going & past that 5K run target, or whenever you feel ready, you can hop straight on to our other Run Fitness sessions. These classes are always mixed ability sessions. So, once you've conquered that 5K target, you can join these sessions without having to worry about the levels of others.
If you'd like to start or re-start your running & fitness journey, taking it steady to begin with whilst building your fitness & confidence within a welcoming, fun, friendly, supportive & social team environment, then the Couch To 5K classes are perfect for you.
If you like variation & diversifying your training, building a little strength, mobility and injury prevention into your schedule then you'll have discounted access to 'Bristol HIIT Fitness' classes with your CRC membership. You'll get unlimited access to Bristol HIIT Fitness classes each week for just £19. Plus free access to Social Heroes Adventure Club, free access to Clifton Cycling Club & access to lots of extras & guidance within our online community too.
Finally, as you'd imagine, we strongly advise anyone and everyone to take part in regular Yoga classes in order to prevent injury, further improve their movement, mobility, core strength & flexibility. As a CRC member, you'll also get extra discount on Clifton Yoga Club classes with this membership combo too. This means you'll get a blend of fitness training plus a Yoga class every week (Silver CYC Membership) for just £24 per month (less than £6 per class).
